Ok ,so I will start with all my predictions from last week. I had three absolute locks for the weekend, and I missed two of three. I got the Tennessee game correct (as I have all year so far!) and missed on the Buffalo and Tampa predictions. On the year though I am still above 50%. I went 5-3 in my 8 leagues this week, losing in the Tennessee Ballers league and two yahoo public leagues. My Cumberland League is a tight race with all teams being only separated by 3 games top to bottom.
I was glad to see alot of returning fantasy studs this week. Brian Westbrook, Marques Colston, and Ladainian Tomlinson all returned with better results, including Westbrook's monster game. I am hoping Joseph Addai will return soon as my leagues are suffering.
I will be taking Clinton Portis' picture down this week and replacing with Brian Westbrook. I intend to give the fantasy player of the week his glory gracing the cover of this blog. This week belongs to Westbrook.
I wanted to give Mr. John Scherer some props on his start 'em/ sit 'em for last week. He listed ten starters for week 8 and all but one scored a touchdown, so thats 90% TD rate...not bad. However, on his sit 'ems, Matt Ryan And Eli Manning both had a better than average game, and Roy Williams scored a touchdown. Also, Dwayne Bowe and Joey Galloway had decent production.So at least he got his starters right?!?!?
